After spending ten years in the Army I joined the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. My assignments with the department have included stays at RPDC, Temecula, Lake Elsinore and Hemet. I have worked for the Problem Oriented Policing Team and the Special Enforcement Team, and I have worked as a Deputy, Corporal and now Detective. As a detective I specialize in sex crimes and child abuse investigations. After ten years in law enforcement I know now that I love my job more than anything in the world.

I am currently on medical disability leave after an accident 14 months ago that left me temporarily paralyzed. I am still recovering and I have every intention of going back to work full time. I count the seconds until that day comes.

I am married (17 years) and I have six children. I love my family life and my wife and children have been incredibly supportive over the last year while I have been slowly recovering from the injuries doctors said I would never fully recover from. I have great kids and they are always helping me remember what is truly important in life.
